Reality Check WHAT ITS SUPPOSE TO BE WHAT IT REALLY IS? • • Team: We get together Team: I give my updates and Plan for the day and go back to my desk • • Scrum Master: I help Scrum Master: I get my my team by removing status update on how the “Project” is progressing impediments • • Product Owner: I assist Product Owner: YAWN!!! in addressing any and occasionally WHAT!!! questions the team may you are telling me this have now !!!

Reality Check Suppose To Be Its 30% Updates & 70% Planning!!! What It Really Is? Its 80% Updates & 20% Impediments!!! Its 10% Updates & 90% Solutioning!!!

We had to HACK our STANDUPS !!!

STANDUP POKER !!! How Confident are you that as a “ TEAM ” we will meet the Sprint Goal by End of Sprint?

Confidence Levels …We will be done in time for Happy Hour !!! …I like where we are going but we need to pick the pace on few things …OK, we need to seriously look at our tasks because we might not make it. …We need to drop few stories or do something because it’s not going to Happen !!! …We are DOOMED and We would be lucky if “anything” gets done this sprint !!! …Cancel the Sprint and call the Agile Shamans…because our sprint commitment ghosts needs to exorcised !!!

…so now WHAT ??? SCRUM Master Facilitates the conversation with team around…. What should “ WE ” do today to go from confidence level of 1,2,3 or 4 to reach the confidence level of 5 ???
