  2.  For our senior project we wanted to learn about a healthy eating and exercise program.  We contacted 24 Hour Fitness and got a trainer to agree to be our mentor.  We met with him for two hours a week for a total fo 10 hours and filmed what we learned.  We edited the video down to a twenty minute video.  We showed this to PE classes at San Juan High School.  We had the students fill out learning logs, recording their learning for feedback on our video.

Two o Imp mport rtant ant Less ssons ons about the Senior ior Pro roje ject ct Topic ic Sori rinna nna Learned arned  Exercising doesn’t only keep people in shape, but keeps them away from diseases and keeps people healthy.  Remember five keys to a component program: nutrition, supplements, resisting training, cardiovascular training, and body composition.

  4.  Living a healthy life is important to live a long one.  Exercise promotes better sleep, reduces tension and depression, and increases energy and alertness.

  5. I learned that I wasn’t eating right and didn’t do the exercises that are important in order to lose weight, get in shape and stay healthy. This project inspired me to exercise more, eat right and stay healthy.

  6. After completing this project, I realized that anything is possible if I put my mind to it. I gained a deeper interest in leading a healthy life by becoming more aware of my diet and my limited exercise.

  7.  Borrow a good video camera from someone, or buy it, so the video would have been better quality.  Involve more people in our video.  Get feedback from our peers.
