What makes us effective?

Taking children out of poverty through education

  • We are “bottom-up’ – communities invite us in
  • Administration costs are covered through

private funding

  • We use education to empower not create

dependency

  • We provide a long-term solution to

poverty whilst demonstrating short term results

slide-20

We aim for sustainability but in reality follow up support costs less than £500 per year

= 2p per day

Why should I support ChallengeAid?

  • We compete against ‘immediacy’ and

‘proximity’

  • We all want the best ‘bang for our buck’
  • ChallengeAid is value for money, e.g. 2p /

child / day

  • Although, we are always seeking self-

sustainability
