SAFETY and SECURITY
Entrances to the buildings have Door Codes. Centre Orientation on the first day. Duty Manager available and our staff on site 24 hours a day during the visit. Tutors enhanced DBS checked and fully trained in the running of sessions and all aspects of a residential trip. Conform to national standards and British Activity Providers Association (BAPA) guidelines. Risk Assessments and Operating Procedures in place and reviewed annually. The ratio of adult to child is 1:10 (HCC’s recommendation is 1 to 10) All dietary and medical needs can be catered for.

Members of teaching staff accompanying the children all hold Open Country Leadership Qualifications Most teachers are experienced with residentials The ferry company will provide an area on the ferry for our school party and we will travel to East Dene by coach Hampshire’s public liability insurance covers every aspect of the trip We will take excellent care of your children
What Happens Now?
The cost of the visit will be £215 A letter will be coming home over the next few weeks which needs to be returned with a £50 deposit if you wish your child to take part this year The deposit needs to be paid by December as a final number has to be given to East Dene Payments can be spread between January and the end of
- March. We also offer flexible payment options via the on-line
payment facility; details will be included in the letter. All staff will be briefed on group needs A timetable and further details (kit list etc) will be provided during the Spring Term
