Recommendations

  • Covid-19 risk cannot be eliminated, it can only be reduced with current tools
  • Most effective tools we have are physical distancing, sanitation, mask wearing and

good ventilation:

  • People need to remain at a minimum 6 feet apart at all times
  • Reduce the number of people in any confined space to achieve 6’ or more distancing
  • Reduce traffic in hallways/transitions, consider one-way travel
  • Hands should be washed or sanitized 5-6 times a day in addition to sanitizing before

meals, after bathroom breaks, etc.

  • Surfaces such as desks, handrails, doorknobs, etc. must be cleaned in between each use
  • Masks must be worn properly at all times when indoors and when you cannot maintain 6

feet or more distancing outdoors

  • Do not touch eyes, nose, mouth even while wearing a mask
  • Cloth masks should be cleansed regularly
  • Ventilation should be considered in areas that have older infrastructure
  • Stay at home if feeling ill
  • Do not delay seeking healthcare
