To participate in ANY senior activity, you will need at least 16 of the required credits and a 1.9 unweighted GPA. To have less than 7 periods scheduled on campus: you need to be a DE student or meet ALL graduation requirements (17 credits, 2.0 GPA, and FSA/EOC testing). If you do not have enough credits to be considered a senior, please speak with your counselor about Summer School, OCVS, or any other means to get yourself on track.

Acceleration Elective
If you have not: ○ completed a Dual Enrollment course with a C grade or higher ○ passed an industry certification exam ○ passed an AP exam ○ do not plan on dual enrolling with Valencia, UCF, UF, or Orange Technical College next year…. You will be placed into one of the following acceleration courses:

TV Productions- any level

Theory and Foundation of Design 1- (or any course in the new digital design sequence)

REGISTRATION DAY
- February 14th- February 16th through your social
studies class in the media center
- You will sit in a row for your specific counselor and
speak with them individually IMPORTANT:
- You will be signed up to take 7 periods if you are not
meeting all graduation requirements.
- If you are on track for graduation, you can take a
minimum of 4 courses depending on transportation and parent signature.
- It is recommended to take 5-6 academic classes
senior year if applying to major universities. You must have a parent signature if you are on track and
- nly going to take 4 courses for the year.
