- Live in overcrowded conditions
- Be at risk of eviction
- Have limited savings
- Rely more on predatory financial services during
hardships
UndocuFund Monterey Bay
▪ UndocuFund Monterey Bay is a collaborative effort to assist Monterey Bay area undocumented immigrant workers impacted by COVID-19 through a one-time financial emergency gift. ▪ Partner organizations distribute 100% of the funds raised to qualified households and ensure recipients are connected to resources including food assistance and medical care.

Chief of Staff NYC Kids Rise
▪ NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program includes more than 10,000 K-2 families across School District 30 in Queens, one of the most diverse school districts in the country and one of hardest- hit areas from the COVID-19 pandemic. ▪ Raised more than $815,000 to date to provide emergency cash relief gift cards to nearly 5,500 families in the Save for College Program
- Support from the Gray Foundation, Robin Hood's
Relief Fund, and other supporters
NYC Kids RISE Emergency Cash Relief
▪ $150 cash disaster relief gift cards, provided at no additional cost by Amalgamated Bank and FIS, can be used for nearly any expense wherever Mastercard is accepted. ▪ Cards made available to participating families throughout the school district, with additional targeted support in highest-need communities:
- Families living in the four NYC Housing Authority (NYCHA) public
housing developments in District 30
- Families that attend 11 elementary schools in Jackson Heights,
East Elmhurst, and Corona, the hardest-hit zip codes in NYC
- These families are at the "epicenter of the epicenter" of the crisis
and are least likely to benefit from federal government support passed to date.
