Tips for Using the System Overview • The online application system is web-based • The best browsers to use include the following: • Google Chrome • Microsoft Edge • Mozilla Firefox • The applicant should click the “Save” button whenever visible, and often while working in detailed sections of the application • The system will log an applicant out after 10 minutes of inactivity • Changes an applicant makes in one section of the application flow throughout the rest of the application • Applicants may consult the application guide for detailed instructions on every section 5

Access Credentials and Account Set-Up • Previous applicants may use an existing account • If an applicant is new to ReConnect they will: • Get a Level II eAuthentication (e-Auth) credential • Obtain it at https://www.eauth.usda.gov • Every person from an organization who needs access to the application system will need a Level II eAuth • Submit the Authorized Representative Request (ARR) 6
