  8. multi6 WG � Multi6 WG – Designing new multihoming approaches for IPv6 � Recent topics: – Designed a new multihoming approach for IPv6 Applications • Split the IP address function Identifier – Locator/Identifier Transport • An L3 shim between IP endpoint and Protocols routing sub layers has been added – Mapping between ID and locator ID -> locator Mapping shim – Multi6 WG itself will be concluded and Locator new WG designing multihoming IP Routing protocol will be formed 8 IP Network Technology Team
