Parent Portal & Online Enrollment • Parent Portal : Parent Portal will be a useful tool. Through Parent Portal you will be able to view your child’s grades and all of the latest educational information. • Online Enrollment: Students new to DPS will need to enroll. Returning students information will simply need to be updated. Once this is done, you will not need to submit any paperwork. You can upload immunization records, birth certificates, etc. through the online enrollment platform. • Our data manager’s name is Mr. Kwai Jarrell, ext. 67224

Canvas is the learning platform that we will use for online learning. Canvas will provide opportunities for live instruction, small group engagement, and peer engagement. Expectations for Online Learning • . • Students should be present and on time. Instruction begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:45. • Please make sure that they are dressed appropriately for online instruction. • Please have an area designated for learning. Students need a quiet space where they can complete work and actively engage in learning • Students must participate in the entire day of instruction. Must come back after breaks!

Limited Limited De Device vice Deplo Deployment yment Unfortunately, we have found out that we will not have devices available until the end of September. It is our hope (and my prayer) that EVERYONE will receive chrome books soon. In the meantime, we are charged with giving devices to a fraction of the families that requested chrome books. WE WILL DISTRIBUTE AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
