• Partnership with governments, non-government

and community organizations is essential for the delivery of this work

• MLHU municipal funding requests have been

held at 0% for the last 14 years

• Every health organization has limited resources and the

need to make choices

• A resource allocation process that aims to

– Better align resources with strategic priorities and objectives of the organization – Improve transparency and rigour (for greater accountability) – Improve staff/public ownership of decision making process

• MLHU has been able to reallocate over $7 million of our

$35 million dollar budget to maximize the impact our services have on the community.
