Overview – Current System Activities H/Benning Line (District funded) 2.4 mile segment between Union Station and Anacostia River Phase 1 construction complete Phase 2 Final design and construction underway Streetcar turnarounds and proposed Car Barn/Training Center (CBTC); installation of poles and overhead wires; track installation; and final roadwork for the turnarounds

Overview – Current System Activities Anacostia Initial Line Segment (District funded) 1.1 mile planned segment connecting the Anacostia Metro Station with the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB); including a storage yard, maintenance, testing and commissioning facilities Construction underway on commissioning and testing site

DDOT seeking to use a Design-Build- Finance-Operate-Maintain delivery method– seeking an industry partner for designing, financing, constructing and/or operating transit facilities & services.

Integrated Premium Transit (IPT) System Industry examples include: • Eagle P3 Project, Denver, CO – Involving 3 commuter rail lines and maintenance: 122 miles of new commuter rail and light rail, 18 miles of bus rapid transit service, 21,000 new parking spaces at rail and bus stations • Transportation Expansion Project (T-REX), Denver, CO – 19 miles of double-track light rail and improved 17 miles of highway • Downtown Tunnel / Midtown Tunnel / MLK Extension, Norfolk and Portsmouth, VA – New two-lane tunnel under the Elizabeth River, Extension of the Martin Luther King (MLK) Freeway • Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes, Fairfax County, VA – 14 miles of two new lanes in each direction, replacement of more than $260 million of aging infrastructure
