The present

The Lebanese pharmacist is now playing mostly the role of a prescription dispenser with no distinction from the technician or the assistant.

Pharmacists are not allowed, to make any discounts on the sales price ,even though the law is still not entirely abided to.

Except for narcotics, most drugs can be purchased in pharmacies without medical prescription, despite the Law that requires a prescription for dispensing any drug (except OTC drugs).
