The M-OADN Convention Planning Committee would like to invite faculty & students to submit a poster presentation at the M- OADN Convention to be held April 6-April 7, 2017 at the Bancorp South Arena & Conference Center in Tupelo, MS. Topics should be related to one of the following:

Poster Presentation Topics: Hot Topics in Nursing Evidenced Based Practice Projects Social Networking Policies Service Learning Student Center Community Health Literacy (Education posters on health promotion & disease prevention) Test taking Strategies NCLEX Success Nursing School Survival Recruitment and Retention of Student Nurses (Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society projects would be great for poster presentations and would highlight the accomplishments of the students) Overall Selection Criteria: The committees will review student posters based on the following criteria: Originality of the topic/presentation Organization of the poster Application to practice and/or nursing education Poster Presentation Display Criteria: Poster size is a minimum of 24in. X 36in. and a maximum of 45in X 93in. Must be on a trifold board an able to stand on a table must be able to been seen from at least 10 feet away Presenter(s) should stand by their posters at designated times Title should be in boldface at the top of poster Format for posters (no fast and hard rules just suggestions):  Title (with authors and affiliations)  Introduction / Objectives / Aims / Problem / Goal  References  Target Audience  Main theme/ Critical Points/teaching strategies of project Health Literacy Projects

 Title (with authors and affiliations)  Target Audience  Readability  Appropriate Graphics & Illustrations  References (APA format) Entries and Retrievals Please complete and submit the poster submission form for your poster topic by March 18, 2017,

to jbrownlow@coahomacc.edu. Because of limiting spacing, No late entries will be accepted.

Each poster must be turned into the MOSA board by 0800 am Thursday April 6, 2017 at the

convention center . The poster presenter must be present to turn in the entry.

The poster presenter must pick up the posters after the business meeting. We look forward to your participation and making this a great event.
