Current Parking and Transportation Planning

  • Parking For Staff and Volunteers on the Back of

Property at White Oak House and a Section of Property Being Improved

  • Staff and Volunteers Will Use Coxe, Sandy

Plains and John Shehan/Moore Roads to Access These Parking Areas

  • After Arrival they will be Shuttled To Security

Clearance to Enter Venue

  • Athletes and Their Support Teams will Park in

Designated Areas On Site

  • Media will have a Designated Parking Location

  • VIP’s will also Have Designated Parking On Site

Current Spectator Parking

  • Steeple Chase Track Off Highway 9 South
  • Estimated to Hold 5000+ Vehicles (Updated) All

Spectator Traffic will enter and exit from Hwy 9.

  • First Screening will Occur at Steeplechase for

use of clear bags and return of items not allowed into World Equestrian Games

  • 55 Passenger Busses Will be Used to Transport

to and from Equestrian Center with an Estimated 500 Trips on the Largest Ticketed Day

  • Bus Travel Speeds will be 30 to 40 MPH
  • Overflow Site is Under Review and Planning
