Oversight Committee

 CPRIT is governed by an Oversight Committee which consists of

11 members composed of three appointees each from the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker of the House of

  • Representatives. Additionally, both the Comptroller and

Attorney General, or their respective designees, are members of the Oversight Committee.

 Each appointee serves staggered six-year terms and may include

cancer survivors and family members of cancer patients.

CPRIT Grant Programs

  • CPRIT has awarded approximately $840.8 million in grant awards,
