There were Great Muslim contributions to Science and Arts. Muslim Schools and Universities (Madaris) were sought after by Renaissance Thinkers. Because they taught not only Quran & Hadith, they also taught all forms of Knowledge. Scientists, Architects, Poets and Historians were produced by them.

Then a Dichotomy (Separation between madrasa and School) occurred. A dual stream education system was introduced that separated knowledge into two parts. Either one learnt Deeni Uloom and became a ‘Maulvi’… Or one learnt Science etc. only and became a ‘Mister’… The result of this is before you ! We have a Mulla without any contemporary knowledge and thus he is unable to provide proper leadership. Or we have Misters who lack spiritual guidance (illa MashaAllah)
