  9. Key Budget Considerations • Early Voting is Coming! October 2020 • Space • BGC is not adequate for Early Voting • ADA concerns with voting in BGC • Staffing • 6.6 FTEs. Last increase in 2005. Since 2005, voter registrations are up 38%. In Person Absentee voting in BGC Cherry and Dogwood. 8 Office of the Electoral Board and Voter Registration

Key Budget Considerations • Increase in Vote by Mail - Vote by Mail has a direct cost for every ballot cast • Staffing - # of Staff Needed Daily • 5 to enter and approve applications • 3 to proof and assemble ballots for mail • 2 to check in and sort returned ballots • 4 to tabulate ballots • Space • BGC Suite 320 is not adequate for processing.
