‘High School Ready’

Students have a comprehensive ‘High School Ready’ Program which includes:

  • Primary School visits – throughout Term 4 2020.
  • Year 6 Transition Day – 1 December 2020.
  • ‘Big Days In’ – for the first 2 days of school in 2021, Year 7 students will focus on

‘getting to know’ their peers, teachers, timetables and day to day school procedures.

Enhancing Teaching and Learning through ICT

From 2021, all Year 7-10 students are expected to bring a fully charged laptop device to school every day. The device must be compatible with the school’s ICT network and comply with school and Department of Education requirements (specifications can be found on our website).

Cadets Programs

Surf Life Saving and Emergency Cadets cater to students in years 7-12. A majority of activities are conducted outside of the school. Some of the skills cadets will learn at lessons include:

First Aid Swimming training Abseiling CPR course Camping Camp Craft Surfing Bush walking Climbing Skippers Ticket Cycling Basic Rescues Snorkeling Sand dune restoration Community Surf Rescue

Acceptance is conducted on a ballot system. Once successful, enrolment rolls over to following year automatically. Information on how to apply for Cadets Programs will be advised at

  • ur Parent Information Evening in November 2020.
