Work shop

  • Based on the experience at ProtoDUNE, there is a need from the

detector and cryostat groups to have a small work shop underground.

  • Space estimate from Nova, 6 m x 9 m, (20’ x 30’) or 45 m2.
  • A list of common tools, hardware, clean room supplies, tool boxes, etc

should be stored someplace underground.

Current cryostat and proposed expansion

Approved 4.8 m shift to the East for easier access to the feed thrus near at the West end of the cryostat Current 12 x 35 m Proposed 4.8 m addition. This would be used for local Cryo controls, personal work space. Also space may be needed if septum is removed for electrical.
