Data collection, validation and main tools • Preparation of questioners and guidelines for data collection for 2014 (based on IBNET template) • Identification of responsible persons for data collection in each PCU. • Coordination of data collection in each PCU • Assisting to PCUs related to the data collection, according to the specific requirements of each PCU • Delivering seven (7) one-day training workshops for the PCUs responsible staff how to operate with the Data management system (including data collection and verification). • National benchmarking portal – www.makbis.org.mk as a main tool • Data collected for 2014 uploaded into the MAKBIS platform • Monitoring data input in the MAKBIS.org.mk and providing assistance

Main conclusions • Leadership commitment • It is needed systematic approach in increasing awareness for the benchmarking system among the PCUs and on the national level • Training workshops with small groups of PCUs (regional level) • Workshops for basic and advanced knowledge for data identification, collection, verification and analysis • National benchmarking portal – www.makbis.org.mk can be the main tool • Pilot phase of operation of the national benchmarking portal and upgrading • Further development of the benchmarking is part of the ADKOM Strategic and Action Plan – time is needed
