Youth Employment Programme

the employment opportunities of participants. Labour market information and control groups are essential for the design, monitoring and evaluation of initiatives.

Youth Employment Programme The initiative on Good practices on youth employment was launched in March 2013 with a view to identifying, exchanging and disseminating practices that have proven effective in promoting decent work for and youth. By increasing the visibility of successful youth employment programmes, technical assistance tools can be developed and established at national or regional level in

  • rder to strengthen and improve the impact of youth

employment programmes.

Youth Employment Programme The Decent Work for Youth platform (DW4Y) is a unique online meeting point to discuss youth employment issues. It gathers young people from diverse backgrounds with a view to strengthening knowledge on decent work issues, as well as supporting young advocates. The users can connect and engage with online debates moderated by young people working on youth employment; share their experiences and ideas of good employment practice; and learn more about Decent Work by asking questions directly to ILO experts.
