Year 2 SATS
We will be giving you more information about this
later in Year 2.
All Year 2 children sit these tests in late May/June. They are set by the government but are marked by
the school.
There are tests in reading, grammar, spelling,
arithmetic and maths problem-solving.
These tests will be a natural progression from the
termly tests children at Byron sit from the start of Year 1, so should not be daunting.
We will tell you in advance if we need you to provide
extra support to your child at home.
