GOAL 1: Review & analyze Foodbank chil ildhood hunger programs to id identify fy ways to better serve th the whole family. • Participation in Feeding America’s Childhood Hunger Cohort • Current childhood hunger programs: • Good-to-Go Backpack Program • Kids’ Cafes • Dayton Children’s Hospital Food Script Program • Next steps: identifying ways to feed the whole family and expand awareness of hunger relief network

GOAL 2: Id Identify fy & address hunger relief programming service gaps and areas on unmet needs. • Identify areas of high poverty that lack a local food pantry using PantryTrak data that The Foodbank keeps for ODJFS • Takes transportation into account • Mobile Farmer’s Markets help meet the needs of home -bound seniors and rural communities, “meeting clients where they’re at” and increasing produce consumption • Sponsored Mobiles are funded by an outside partner to target a specific area or community • Needs-based Mobiles are formed through gap mapping

GOAL 3: Expand Foodbank partner agency capacity. • Pilot partner agency program 2019: working with 13 agencies to identify challenges and opportunities, fundraise, and increase capacity to solve food insecurity • Each agency receives a tailored support plan • Development of a partner agency council to represent all 100+ agencies of The Foodbank • The Foodbank’s tiered membership program • Next steps: seeking new and innovative ways to serve clients (e-pantry)
