SIP Goals for the 2016-2017 • Increase ELA, Mathematics, and Science proficiency in all subgroups (these are students that pass the FSA with a 3, 4 or 5) • Increase ELA and Mathematics learning gains in the lowest 25% (Earn a 1 or 2 on the FSA) • Increase ELA and Mathematics learning gains for the top 25% (Earn a 4 or 5 on the FSA) • Increase Civics proficiency in all subgroups (groups of students according to ethnicity, gender, sex (boy or girl)) Last year we made a 96% on this subgroup, this year’s goal is to go up to 99% • • Increase participation and performance in accelerated courses (middle school classes)

Increase ELA, Mathematics, and Science proficiency in all subgroups (these are students that pass the FSA with a 3, 4 or 5) Reviewed School Grade Data with all grade-levels • Grade-Level Discussion and Data being brought to grade-levels is focused on all subgroups. • i-Ready implementation in ELA and Math in grades K-8. • i-Ready training with all teachers to discuss diagnostic analysis. • Purchase of Florida Ready Consumable in ELA and Math to supplement instruction. •

Increase ELA and Mathematics learning gains in the lowest 25% (Earn a 1 or 2 on the FSA) • Created instructional groups on i-Ready to focus on our lowest 25% through i-Ready implementation, and tracking the use of instructional minutes. • Action plan created to ensure students are logging on to i-Ready. • Weekly Tutoring Program to start in January to target these students and i- Ready implementation.

Increase ELA and Mathematics learning gains for the top 25% (Earn a 4 or 5 on the FSA) • Implementation of Math Club at the Elementary level to target the top 25% of students. • Additional Planning Time provided to teachers to create Enrichment Centers for their students. • Differentiation Professional Development Survey provided to teachers. PD will occur in January to target teachers need.

Increase Civics proficiency in all subgroups (groups of students according to ethnicity, gender, sex (boy or girl) • Last year we made a 96% on this subgroup, this year’s goal is to go up to 99% • Increase of collaboration strategies specifically in Civics. • Bi-Weekly Standards Based Data Analysis conducted during grade-level meetings.

Increase participation and performance in accelerated courses (middle school classes) • We offer Earth Science Space Science Honors, Physical Science Honors, Algebra Honors and Spanish I for high school credit. Enrolled 13 sixth grade students in Math 2 Adv. to encourage and prepare for Algebra I Honors in 7 th grade. • • We offer Digital Information Technology for high school credit, college or technical school credit Mrs. Amber Lamar, ICT & DIT Instructor, started Florida Business Professional to increase interest in the • ICT and DIT courses. • We offer Project Calculus to 6 th graders that are pushing to 7 th grade math as a summer program to teach skills to students they need before starting the class and also offer tutoring twice a week during the school year. Placed 2 nd for the Project Calculus Tutoring Challenge •

Barriers and Plan • Barriers • Getting students logged-on to i-Ready for the recommended amount of time. • Receiving the Florida Ready Books well after the 1 st nine weeks • Plan • Identifying and target students who need additional support by inviting them to the tutoring program. • Weekly teacher reporting during grade-level on what they are doing to support our struggling learners. • Provide Differentiated Instruction Professional Development for ALL teachers
