In 2012, Council approved the Diversion Sub Committee Report “Best of the Best” – Markham's Roadmap to 80% Diversion The Roadmap contained 10 recommendations to be implemented 2012 – 2014

  • Partnership with Eco Watch for battery recycling in Markham schools
