Maggie Barnett NISD Board Meeting 10.21.19 2019 MISS MAJORETTE OF TEXAS This past summer I was awarded the title of 2019 Teenage Miss Majorette of Texas and qualified to represent the state of Texas at the national baton twirling
This past summer I was awarded the title of 2019 Teenage Miss Majorette
the state of Texas at the national baton twirling championships in July held annually at the University of Norte Dame. I placed among the top twenty in the Miss Majorette of America contest and was a national finalist in the strutting competition. In addition to this I brought home two other top 10 placements.
Just last month I traveled to Peru to represent the United States as a baton twirling ambassador for the 69th International Festival of
across the country, spent two weeks in the city of Trujillo performing at numerous philanthropic events in an effort to raise funds for the
beyond grateful for this trip, all of the lessons it taught me, and for all the friendships I gained.

Nelson HS as their baton twirler. I truly enjoy every minute that I get to twirl for my school.
