Long Term No Access - Initiatives  Full Data Mining Exercise completed  Lists to both MR’s and suppliers with follow -up calls and meetings  System Letters after 5 and 11 bills  Phone (after hrs) and bulk texting  Spec Read requests (extra charge)  Campaign’s on commercial premises and pumphouses  Direct follow-up with multi-site owners eg Co Co’s , IW etc  Local Area office knowledge  Direct contact with Irish Water and 3 Mobile  Targeting Keypad meter customers via phone/letter  Blitzing during the summer months with phone calls made by students/sending notes to properties  Liaising with Meter Ops/suppliers in relation to market messages for de energised/terminated properties  Including more information on readers reports to help them target more customers 3 esb.ie

Storm Ophelia Update From: RMDS • Exceptional Storm & Much Damage Sent: 16 October 2017 16:14 Cc: RMDS <RMDS@esb.ie> Subject: Storm Ophelia - ESB Networks Update at 4pm • 3 fatalities ESBN hav e requested RMDS to circulate the following note to ROI participants: • Peaked at 395,000 customers out The map below shows the number of customers without electricity at 3.46pm today. The main headlines at this point in Day 1 include: •  361k customers out nationwide. Cork City and County was badly effected with ov er 100k No.1 - Safety customers without power (5 stations lost due to fault in East Cork);  The Storm in the South and South West appeared to ease around 2.30pm. Widespread damage and outages are ev ident across the South of the country.  ESB Networks crews were dispatched in the last hour across the South of the country;  The focus for today continues to be (1) make safe and (2) assess damage and scale of repair where it is safe to do so;  Clare/Galway/Mayo & South East (Wexford/Waterford/South Dublin) continue to feel the force of the storm at the moment. Crews in these locations are only responding to emergency situations Resourced by until the winds calm and the working env ironment is safe;  The main cause of damage is downed timber;  Giv en the extraordinary scale of damage today, it is important to note that the repairs will take an • extended period of time to complete. 2,500 staff If you hav e any particular questions, please let me know. • 1,000 contractors • 350 Non ROI crews brought in • Three Contact Centres in Operation immediately • Vulnerable Customers Prioritised • Communications ongoing Monday 23 rd October 2017 • IT Systems Performed exceptionally well • The General Enquiries line and Suppliers line re-open • ESBN Supplier Support team re-open for normal business • Re-Energisation calls continue to be prioritised for completion at the earliest opportunity • Non critical suppliers call will be processed in Dublin areas Wednesday 25 th October 2017 • Suppliers can re commence logging De-Energisation calls in all locations. • Non critical suppliers calls for national areas (outside Dublin) can be logged • ESB Networks will then schedule same for completion as resources become available 4 esb.ie

  6. What is GDPR? The EU General Data Privacy and Regulation (GDPR) is coming into force in May 2018 Mandatory compliance GDPR is a ‘game changer’ in the world of privacy. All organisations processing data must become compliant with this regulation Time for immediate action The regulation will become applicable on 25 May 2018. Implementation must start immediately • Workshop Objectives • Understand where and what personal data is stored and processed for your Business Unit (as is) • This will help identify and inform where changes are needed to meet GDPR requirements (gap analysis) 6 esb.ie

  7. ESB has a role to play We must prepare for this new regulation and be compliant by May 2018.
