EASTERN ONTARIO DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (EODP)

 EODP introduced Oct.’04 by PM Harper,

a $10M socio economic development initiative for EO, delivered by EO CFDCs

 Since Oct. 2004, 15 CFs in EO have rec’d

$65M leveraging a further $300M from partners, delivering 5,500 projects

 Each CFDC administer $858,000

annually under two pillars of funding

 Eligible activities:

– Training & Skills development – Web enhancement, e-commerce, GIS appl., software development – Business plans, expansion plans & feasibility studies – Research & Development – Trade Show exhibits for market expansion – Internships-Youth & Non-Youth Not to exceed 50% of eligible project costs to max. of $100,000
