itself from its terminals to the air field.

  • LAWA is proposing to spend $5.5 billion on the Landside

Access Modernization Program (LAMP)

Why W y We e Need eed LAMP

Heavy traffic congestion during peak hours

– On normal days 95,000 vehicles enter the CTA – During peak periods we have 6,000 enter the CTA each hour – At its peak during the Thanksgiving Holiday up to 120,000 vehicles entered the CTA daily. This results in significant delays.

Why W y We e Need eed LAMP

  • 23 different rental car lots are scattered around the airport

area causing confusion and traffic congestion.
