Letter of acceptance
- Has different names e.g. Offer of enrolment, Admission Offer, Letter of
Offer. May arrive via email, snail mail to you or/and Malmö University
- Accept your ’Offer’ (if required)
- Upload to MoveON platform
Fees and expenses
- Tuition fees at the host university are wavered
- Possible fees to the host university:

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA
- Remember to check with the Swedish Migration Board (migrationsverket.se) regarding
your residence permit application for both before you go and after you return to Sweden.

- If you change any courses while on exchange:
Amend the Learning Agreement and send it a.s.a.p. to your International Faculty Coordinator! Find information and download forms on our Go International website. Erasmus student use only the Erasmus+ learning agreement.
ERASMUS+ scholarship
- Scholarship for those of you going on exchange within the Erasmus+-programme
- All information has been sent to you by e-mail
- Read the information carefully and follow the instructions
- Note that your exchange has to be at least 90 days

Insurance – Student-UT
- All outgoing students are insured by Kammarkollegiet’s insurance ‘Student- UT’ during
your time abroad
- Free of charge
- Valid 14 days before and 14 days after the semester dates (excl. Australia - visa dates.
USA/Canada other information, ask Caroline for exact details.)
- Valid for direct travel to/from your country of study
- Valid 24-hours a day in country of study
– i.e. it is not valid in any other country than the country of your host university
- You will receive the certificate to your e-mail

Insurance – within EU/EEA
- Same coverage as Student UT outside of EU/EEA, except for health care:
- Bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), issued by Försäkringskassan
(www.forsakringskassan.se) or similar social insurance authority in your home country. Be sure to order this in time!
- Gives you access to medically necessary, state-provided healthcare during a temporary
stay under the same conditions and at the same cost (free in some countries) as people insured in that country.
- For health care, you are covered by this card (instead of the MIC of the 'Student-UT’

- 3. Follow your host university's instructions – if any
- 4. Contact Malmö University with an update of your situation

- Find out the dates of Student Fairs etc. at your host university
- Attend meetings, workshops etc. and inform about Malmö University
- Try to actively encourage other students to come to Malmö (the more students we receive,
the more we can send)
- Information folder and poster in your packs – bring them with you!
After your exchange
Credits and transcripts
- Check before you leave where/when the transcript will be sent
- Transcripts posted/emailed to either you, your faculty or the International Office
- Make sure your credits are accredited by checking with the faculty coordinator
- Upload documents to MoveON platform.
