- $73k USDA grant to help promote the 4 R’s in Coral Bay

- USDA Solid Waste Management Project--Residential
Composting, reduced plastics/disposables Outreach - cooperate with WMA, IGLA
Priority for 2017 - Urgent Need MOVE main bin site:Trying since 2010
- Solution to overburdened, environmentally
dangerous shoreline main solid waste bin site location: move to better site that facilitates reuse and recycling too.
- Cooperate with WMA, IGLA, GVI, and private
donors/investors.
- Pursue goal of “Near Net Zero waste & solar
energy for Coral Bay” at common facility (Solar roof over waste collection/recycling activities)
