- 4. Click icon to link to the application web site.
- 5. Click ‘2-Year Nitec Courses (JIE ‘N’)’.
a) Enter NRIC / FIN and Date of Birth to start application. b) Upon completion of application, applicants will receive their web ID and password.

Checking of Results/ Accept Course Offer for 2-Year Nitec Courses
- 1. Go to https://www.ite.edu.sg.
- 2. Click icon.
- 3. Click icon.

- 5. Click ‘Self-Service’ followed by ‘Student Admission’
followed by ‘View Application Results’ to view the application results and to accept course offer.

more information on application for full time Nitec Courses via the JIE ‘N’ .

- Students with confirmed ITE EAE offers. Students with
confirmed ITE EAE offers are expected to honour their
- ffers. They are not allowed to apply for Nitec courses
at JIE.
- However, please note that students with confirmed ITE
EAE offers for Nitec courses are still allowed to apply for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) and the Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) if they qualify.

13 STEP-BY-STEP INFORMATION FOR JIE APPLICATION
- All N(A)*/N(T) school leavers are encouraged to put in an application during
the 1st Phase (Main Phase) between 19 Dec 2019 (2.30pm) to 23 Dec 2019 (5pm).
- Secondary School Teachers will contact N(A)*/N(T) school leavers who did
not apply during the 1st Phase (Main Phase) to
- Remind/Encourage them to apply online during the 2nd Phase (Late
Application/Appeal Phase) between 3 Jan 2020 to 7 Jan 2020.
- Their application results for 2nd Phase (Late Application/Appeal Phase) will be
known on 15 Jan at 9am.
- Unsuccessful applicants can appeal under the 3rd Phase (Final Top-up Phase)
between 15 Jan to 23 Jan 2020 and 29 Jan to 10 Feb 2020 for courses with vacancies.
*N(A) school leavers who are not eligible to progress/repeat in MOE schools.

- Students interested in applying for the PFP should first start their Secondary
5 year on 2 January 2020, while awaiting notification of eligibility and confirmation of a place in the PFP.
- Prepares Sec 4N(A) students for progression into selected polytechnic diploma
courses via a 2-year Higher Nitec programme at ITE, and a 10-week DPP preparatory course
- Serves as an alternative to Sec 5
- Upon release of the GCE N-Level results, all DPP-eligible students may apply
for DPP Higher Nitec courses via the ITE website (https://www.ite.edu.sg).
- You may select up to 12 course choices.
- Students who attain required Higher Nitec GPA scores are guaranteed a
place in one of the polytechnic diploma courses mapped to the Higher Nitec course. (Refer to https://www.ite.edu.sg/admissions/full-time- courses/higher-nitec/dpp/ for course mapping.)

- DPP posting results will be released on 26 December 2019.
Students may check the posting results online via the ITE application portal.
- Students who receive a DPP offer should log on to the ITE
application portal between 26 December 2019 and 30 December 2019 to accept or reject the DPP offer.
- Students who do not have a confirmed place in the DPP should
report to their secondary schools on 2 January 2020 for Secondary 5.

- There are N(A) students who do not qualify for PFP, DPP or Sec 5,
and want to apply for 2-year NITEC courses at ITE.
- Posting to NITEC courses are based on Best 4 'N' Level Subjects,
including prerequisite subjects and bonus points, and N(A) grades are converted to ITE scores as below:
- ELMAB3 (English Language, Mathematics and best three
- ther subjects) aggregate score of 19 points or less; and
- At least an N(A)-Level Grade 5 for all subjects used in the
computation of ELMAB3.
- Go to General Office to fill up an application form
(Yellow) for submission.
Retention at Sec 4N(A)
Students who wish to retain must satisfy all criteria:
- Obtain an aggregate score:
- Not exceeding 21 points for ELMAB3 (i.e. ELMAB3 ≤ 21), or
- Not exceeding 14 points for ELB3 (English Language and best three other
subjects12) (i.e. ELB3 ≤ 14), or
- Not exceeding 14 points for MAB3 (Mathematics and best three other subjects13)
(i.e. MAB3 ≤ 14); and
- Age requirement:
- Will not be more than 4 years overage, for Singapore Citizens/ Permanent
Residents (i.e. born on or after 2 Jan 2000), or
- Will not be more than 2 years overage, for International Students (i.e. born on or
after 2 Jan 2002); and
- Sat for the GCE N(A)-Level Examination only once previously and
- All subjects used in the computation of the ELMAB3, ELB3 or MAB3 aggregate score
must be at least an N(A)-Level Grade 5 and
- Subjected to Principal’s approval
- Fill up the application form and submit to General Office.
