IPoRPR WG Status

  • Current Charter focused on IP over IEEE 802.17 RPR
  • WG deliverable is a Framework document outlining

requirements and technical approaches

  • WG objective is to integrate RPR MAC functions, as defined by the

IEEE 802.17 WG, with network layer routing.

  • WG moved from the General Area to a new Temporary Area

for sub-IP with S.Bradner & B.Wijnen as ADs

  • Temp Area intended to be short lived (1-2 years) and

will be re-evaluated after the London meeting.
