  4. What happens during the script process? The child is under threat The child doesn´t get what it needs An alarm is installed in the Amygdala What are the consequences? The amygdala is 200 times faster than the cortex The amygdala releases the stress hormones The script returns So we have to delete the alarm to dissolve the script issue

  5. Introvision Professor Angelika Wagner Research on stress of teachers Imperatives Brain goes into „freeze mode“ Imperatives are connected with an inner alarm and the result is stress Stress-management vs. IntrovisionCoaching

  6. Imperative Don´t fail!!!!! Second Voice But it´s possible that you fail in this exam!

  7. The first voice is the Imperative and it´s connected with an inner alarm

  8. What Causes the Alarm? Unpleasant event which must be avoided Alarm is installed in the amygdala Alarm starts when the imperative is threatened Imperative: "X must not happen under any circumstances!" Inner voice: "But it might happen in this situation." Alarm is triggered in the amygdala Behind the alarm is the Imperative There is a hierarchy of Imperatives Key-Imperatives Key Imperatives helpless worthless loveless I must die extremly strong alarm reactions

  9. Exercise in triads (Client - Coach - Observer) The client talks about the difficult situation The Coach is accompanying your journey and helping through listening and questions. No evaluation, judgement or advice!!! The Coach asks about the fear:
 - What is the worst to happen than?
 - What would happen if…. The observer thinks about the key imperative behind the words and gives feedback to the coach

  10. The Amygdala The Amygdala 200 times faster than your cortex Tries to start the alarm as early as possible Alarm starts when the imperative is threatened Alarm is triggered in the amygdala
