Year 2, Semester II required course Perspective on Career Planning (POCP) Semester II will focus on…. “What does the future work field expect from me?” This module addresses the professional and ethical conduct of the psychologist.  The SSC will register you in Semester II, POCP lectures and WG in December.  Your meeting times may be different than in Semester I.   9. Year 2, Semester II required course Interpersonal Professional Skills  5 ec + very intensive. VERY strict compulsory attendance policy for lectures and WG!  Offered twice in Semester II:  50% spots available in Block 3  50% spots available in Block 4  Taught on Thursdays and Fridays (unless holidays) (1.5 days of classes: all sessions compulsory attendance!) Year 2, Semester II required course Multivariate Data Analysis Entry requirement: • Introduction to Research Methods and Statistics* • Inferential Statistics * (*Grade in uSis before Block 4 registration deadline) • MvDA is offered in Block 4 and is, in turn, the entry requirement for the Bachelor Project . • Pass MvDA this year, or you will cause a 6 month delay in your programme (i.e. you can only do the Bachelor Project in your 4 th year, Sem. 1; start master in Feb.)  If you take IPS in Block 4 you have to register for MvDA WG on Wednesdays! Specialisation Courses: done in Sem II Year 2 and 3 rd year Entry requirement: ‘P’ the Propedeuse*  * If you complete the ‘P’ in January exams, you can register for a Block 4 specialisation courses once uSis shows ecs. 3 specialisation courses are required. (You can take more)  10 ec courses - have lectures and work groups  Courses are offered 2 times a year. Exams after given after the  block in which course is offered and in the re-sit period in June/July). Exam method differs per course. Prerequisite to get into related Leiden master’s specialisation  If you have ‘P’ courses remaining in Block 3 or 4 (or re-sits of  Block 2 courses), no specialisation courses in 2018-19 Discover the world at Leiden University

  22. Electives: Minor - 30 ec on one theme For a minor keep in mind…. Check the language in which they are taught?  Are they offered in one semester? Or during academic year?  Usually 30ec; some half-minors exist too.  RULE: avoid content overlap with IBP courses; no credits for  course content overlap. How and when you should register? Registration begins at 00:00  on May 1! Some minors fill very quickly!! Inform the SSC that you are doing the minor!  Discover the world at Leiden University
