  3. 2. Who was the person to first play the nursery rhyme. It is Unknown. During the times of the 18th century it was difficult to financially maintain the bridge, so the people made suggestions in forms of poems.

  4. 3. What country did it originate from? Although it was believed to have originated from England, there are rather similar rhymes to the nursery rhyme “London Bridge is Falling Down” that can be found across Europe.

  6. 5 . Does the song have any special meaning or significance? The Significance and meaning of this nursery rhyme is the construction of the bridge made over the centuries and what type of building materials they used or thought of.

  7. 6 . What themes does the song discuss or portray? The themes within the song heavily discuss the improvements that could be added to the famous, London Bridge. The song actually has many verses that talk about how the bridge could be sustained. For example it mentions to add wood and clay to the bridge but in the next verse it is denied as those materials would wash away.

  8. Our Code Our code took a while to construct but eventually after many attempts we were able to successfully play London Bridge is Falling Down on a micropiano.
