What TriMet is doing long term to adapt to the changing environment?

  • We are working with local and federal partners to create long

term investment strategies for improving the reliability and speed of high occupancy vehicles.

  • We are doing this through a combination of physical changes to

the right of way, light rail platforms and transit centers, and the development of software that will empower the consumer and improve and prioritize the movement of high occupancy vehicles.
