  • competence. Proposals that encourage and facilitate study abroad as part of

Rutgers degree programs will be reviewed favorably. Such proposals should incorporate study abroad into curricula in a way that is concrete, practical, affordable, and consistent with the timely completion of degree.

  • Consultation with Rutgers Global–Study Abroad is strongly encouraged during

proposal and program development.

APPLYING FOR A GRANT

  • Pay careful attention to

requirements for each grant as they vary.

  • Get help from your business

specialist to complete budget form.

  • Make sure you have all of

the necessary documentation.

  • Research should be legible to

those outside of your field, because reviewers are often not subject matter experts.

  • Make the case for your
  • grant. Why is it important?

What is the benefit to Rutgers? What is new or innovative.
