Conclusions

  • Costa Rica has great Human Talent for Life Sciences

and Advanced Manufacturing companies that want to settle in the country.

  • There is recent efforts to develop higher value added

activities in the country by leading companies. This enables the transfer of technology to the local talent.

  • More and more technical careers are being adopted by

Universities to respond to the growth of this critical sector for the country.

  • However, Costa Rica still lacks the knowledge-base for

advance research, product development, technical writing and IP creation to provide high-tech solutions to worldwide markets.

  • The different groups must unite efforts allow for a fruitful

development environment: academia, government, banking system, law firms, industry.
