EXEC - Electronic Xchange of e-Evidences with e-CODEX EXEC (Electronic Xchange of e-Evidences with e-CODEX ) enables the participating Member States to exchange European Investigation Orders (EIO) and related e-Evidence fully electronically. The 14 participating Member States will interconnect with other Member States by setting up an e-CODEX infrastructure. Each participating Member State uses e-CODEX to set up its own AP to interconnect with other Member States for exchanging e-Evidences. EXEC - Electronic Xchange of e-Evidences with e-CODEX Project description: EXEC enables the participating Member States to exchange European Investigation Orders (EIO) and related e-Evidences fully electronically through existing national back-end solutions or the Reference Implementation provided by the European Commission. The e-CODEX Building Blocks ( Gateway and Connector ) build the exchange infrastructure to facilitate the electronic delivery of EIO and e-Evidences.

EXEC - Electronic Xchange of e-Evidences with e-CODEX Project goal: to provide an up and running network between the competent legal authorities of the participating MS that can be used to exchange EIO and related e-Evidences fully electronically. Each participating MS sets up an AP to this network with e-CODEX means and interconnects via this AP with the other participating MS APs. Either existing national back end solutions or the Reference Implementation built by the Commission are used as end application for the corresponding forms of the EIO procedure.
