colleges, of 15 and 30 credit hours leading toward a degree or certificate. All nonpublic high schools may participate. No eligible student may be denied participation.
College Credit Plus is open to students in grades 7 through 12 who are deemed college ready.
There is no no cost cost to to students students participating in College Credit Plus. Tuition and book charges will be handled at the state level between the high school and the college.
What does that mean to you?
At a COTC tuition cost is $179 per credit hour, if a student takes a three credit hour class it would typically cost $537 – but through College Credit Plus there is no cost to the student. SO…. 12 to 15 credit hours would be a savings of $2,148 30 credit hours would be a savings of $4,300 and would equal about the first year of an associate degree.
