Late Work:

  • Late work is accepted within 24 hours of the
  • riginal due date AS LONG AS it is accompanied

by a Learner Action Plan(LAP) which can be found on my website. No form=No late work. Tests:

  • All tests come with the option for retakes if you

score a 4 or less AND complete the reflection

  • form. It will be well advertised.
  • Students are notified on Monday
  • f anticipated homework for the

week

also updated weekly with anticipated homework

6 Point Scale and Grades

Grade Breakdown: Formative(in class work, homework): 30% Tests/Projects: 25% Essays: 20% Midterm/Final: 25% Working on Knowledge=30% Proof of Knowledge=70%

We use the 6 point scale in this

  • class. The purpose of the scale is to

help represent mastery of knowledge in a manner better than the 100 point system. It allows for good days and bad days and lets you really reflect upon your learning.
