  2. The confusing bit… CSAF funding was held by Welwyn Hatfield BC Employment of project officer through Herts Sport and Wellbeing Foundation (Herts Sports Partnership Charity) Officer line managed by WHBC and HSP Based at 2 local sports centres No one really knew who I was owned by!

  3. Sustainability, sustainability, sustainability John’s favourite comments from the end of Year 1 of 3: We can’t let this come to an end!!! How are we making this sustainable? How much money do you need? What are you going to do after?

  4. Charity was no longer needed by HSP Only staff employed through charity were ours No one wanted to employ me! Herts Sports and So easiest solution…. Wellbeing Foundation … give me the charity! Within a year we had 6 new trustees and a new name

  8. Lordship Farm KS1 Paralympic Roadshow - 8:30-12:30

  9. Meanwhile… 10:00-12:00 Dementia session in Stevenage

  10. followed by Leyden House Day Service 13:00-15:00

  11. as well as some staff training… Virtual Reality Dementia Tour 15:00-17:00

  12. Tuesday 20 th May 2019 Freechurch and Eat Herts Day Services Cycling and North Lake with pedalo’s 10:30-2:30

  13. meanwhile… Woolgrove MLD Primary School residential activities Doughnutting and Adapted Cycling 10:30 – 15:00

  14. as well as… First Aid training for new member of staff 9:00-16:00 at Herts Sports Village

  15. Wednesday 21 st May 2019 Home Education Bell Boating taster session 11:00-12:00 at Stanborough Park

  16. Thursday 21 st May 2019 Easy Rider group leader training 9:00-2:00 at Stanborough Park

  17. Friday 22 nd May 2019 Abbot’s Hill Prep School - Paralympic Roadshow Hemel 8:45 - 15:30

  18. meanwhile… Greenhills Day Service Hemel – Sucker Archery 10:30 – 12:00

  19. meanwhile… Dementia session in Watford 13:00 – 15:00

  20. The week in numbers: 8 staff 3 volunteers 141 paid hours 19 volunteer hours

  21. Participation figures for the week: • Day services - 51 • Special Schools - 18 • Home education - 3 • 458 Paralympic Roadshows - 291 • Tasters - 30 • Training - 9 • Open sessions – 7 • Staff / parents / carers - 49

  22. The future Main goal is to continue to diversify income: • Grants • Earned income • Donations Raise the profile of the charity further: • Marketing strategy • Make our own clear identity • New fit for purpose website / booking system So that we can focus on making Herts a better place for people with a disability!
