Start of my journey. At the start of my journey my weakness was independence because I always asked a teacher before I tried the task myself. What have I learnt? I have learnt that effective communication is important because if you don’t communicate to your team you wont get anywhere!!! What’s next for me? I need to improve on my creative skills because I am not great at coming up with creative ideas.

Start of the residential I think at the start of the residential I needed to improve on my team work. What I have learnt I have learnt to communicate better by making sure I communicate effectively and listen to people. What I want to look at next? To become a better team learner.

The start of my journey At the start of my journey I lacked my teamwork, ressilience and communication skills. On the first day I didn’t know what to expect the only thing I knew was we were canoeing. What have i learnt? I have learnt how to work more effectively as a team and communicate more. On learning to learn day although we won, that wasn't because we were

• perfect. The reason we won we won because we are a good team.

How are we going to use this? I think that we could use these skills in many ways. One by when we have to do work in groups from now on our cooperation skills will be better because

• At the start of the journey I was not very

confident with being independent as I like to work in teams

• Over the last two days I have changed and

have become more independent by being able to read a map independently and take lead of a group by using the route cards.

• At the start of my journey my weakness was in

team building because I found it hard to work with other people.

• I have learnt that if you work on your own you

will not get that far as if you work as a team our are more likely to be successful.

• At the start of my journey I wasn’t very good

at working in a team. However on Tuesday we learnt more about team work. This let us get through all the activities over the last two

effectively, making me better at teamwork. I think I can still improve more by planning and thinking before starting a task making sure we are prepared.
