Considerations

  • Anticipated Housing (see letter); Sent to PTO

Presidents of affected campuses + social media

  • Long range planning for additional growth
  • Two campuses have lower enrollments than
  • thers (DDE, BCE)
  • Student transfers impact the numbers (more

intra-district currently – students who live in the district)

District’s Recommendation:

  • We recommend #2B because:

– It leaves room for growth at RES where we anticipate more growth in the future, – It distributes the numbers more evenly, – It utilizes the facilities we have.

Grandfather Considerations

  • Incoming 5th grade and 8th grade students

(and their siblings for one year only) may remain at the campus they are currently attending, however, no CISD transportation will be available.

Intra-district Transfers

  • Transfer window is open currently.
  • Form is sent to the home campus and the

home campus sends to the next campus.

  • Final approval of all transfers is at the

discretion of the Associate Superintendent and will be based on space.
