CWNCRA Desig ignation

The Central Wasatch National Conservation and Recreation Area (CWNCRA) is a proposed Federal designation that protects 80,000 acres

  • f U.S. Forest Service land in the Central Wasatch mountains.

Hallmarks of the designation include:

  • the authorization for land exchanges between the four Cottonwood

Canyon ski resorts and the Forest Service.

  • Future development limitations for Cottonwood ski resorts.
  • Additional wilderness designations and watershed protections.
