M STEPS WE ARE TAKING: NOTIFICATION

1 Month 2 weeks 48 hours In Person Notification In Person Notification Notification Letter

  • The production’s Locations Team will

travel to the filming areas to complete an initial notification. During this notification, production will discuss the impact of filming, discuss concerns and provide solutions.

  • If there is a major complaint or

concern, the production will coordinate with the Office of Special Events Film & Tourism (OSEFT) & Savannah Area Film Office (SAFO) to find a solution.

  • A reminder of the upcoming filming
  • activity. Address any possible changes

to the initial Notification Letter.

  • At this time, concerns and solutions

from businesses or residents will be finalized.

  • OSEFT and SAFO will be included in

any extraordinary changes or concerns and will be available to assist, if necessary.

  • All concerns with the initial Notification

and second Notification Letter will be resolved.

  • This is a final reminder of when/where

filming will be taking place and the impact on the community.

ADDITIONAL STEPS WE ARE TAKING

  • Resident and Business Surveys

During the Notification Period, OSEFT & SAFO and the production will take a survey of needs with residents and businesses that are going to be impacted.

  • One on One Meetings

OSEFT & SAFO will be working with the production to address one on one meetings with concerned residents and businesses.

  • 24 Hour Communication

Someone on the production staff will be available at all times during filming. OSEFT and SAFO will make periodic set visits to assure a successful experience for both the community and the production. During critical high impact filming days, SAFO and OSEFT are available 24/7 as needed on set.

  • Patronize Impacted Businesses

Film Crew makes a concerted effort to shop and eat at businesses impacted by filming. On any given day, the Crew is between 45 and 150 people.

  • Removal/unbolting of benches.
  • Requesting to place modern flags from City
