The Ayrshire Model • Promotes the systematic early identification of concerns about a child by all agencies from pre- birth onwards • Builds incrementally to ensure children & families receive the support and services they require • Reduces duplication and streamlines report writing consistently with the common language and assessment framework of GIRFEC • Is a fully co-ordinated systematic approach to the gathering, recording and evaluation of information
