Gas Day Overview?

• RR100 – Gas Electric Coordination Timeline, FERC

Order 806  Move the Day-Ahead (DA) Market timeline to close at 0930 and post at 1400  Shorten the reoffer period between DA Market and DA RUC to 45 minutes  Move the DA RUC timeline to close at 1445 and complete by 1715.

• Every MP who submits bids and offers is

impacted and is required to test

• Markets Testing only, not Bid to Bill

(No Settlements Involvement)

Testing Timeline

• July 28: MP Testing Kick-Off Call
• August 1 –> August 29: Gas Day MP Testing Period
• August 15: Testing Status Update/Check-In Call
• August 29: Last day to test
• August 31: Last day to submit scorecard

Tips for MP Testing

• Execution of Gas Day Test Scripts should take no

longer than two (2) hours

• All ‘negative’ testing (submittal of bids/offers

after the market close at 0930) should be executed prior to 1100

• Only one of the web services calls needs testing,

all APIs do not require testing.

• Testing is supported weekdays during standard

business hours

• All times listed in test cases are in Central

Prevailing time (CPT)

Market Participant Expectations

• ALL MPs will execute applicable Test Cases
• Complete all Structured Testing by Monday,

August 29

• Ask questions or report issues via RMS*
• Turn in your testing results (Gas Day MP Test

Cases) as soon as testing is complete but no later than August 31 via RMS* *using Request Type: Project Inquiries

SPP Expectations

• Support MP Testing weekdays from August 1

through August 29

• Respond to Market Participant RMS tickets in

timely manner

• Post the consolidated scorecard on Monday

mornings with testing results for each MP

• Communicate any changes or updates regarding

testing or member facing/impacting defects promptly via:
